GOD’S CALL TO THE NATIONS

God is making Himself known among the nations, and has called Christians to be an active part of this mission. As the New Testament church was about to be established many years ago, Jesus Christ said to his followers, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you: and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8) These are monumental words.

Bay City is commissioned by these words as well. We must take the glorious news of the gospel to the ends of the earth and so we do this through our Faith Promise Missions giving. Through it, we support missionaries and church planters around the world. By the faithful giving of God’s people, the Gospel is being taken to:

Whether across the street in Green Bay, or across the ocean, the saving power of the Gospel needs to be preached to all people and in all churches. Our desire, and the LORD’s heart desire, is to reach as many people as possible with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We urge our people to be a part of our Faith Promise Missions giving program, so that we can do just that.

The words of 2 Corinthians 4:3 are clear: “And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.” Let’s be obedient to the Lord and participate in God’s work across the world.
